Have to appreciate, looking back on this month-old short, that it's relevant for the rest of the year.
Plus these sound effects and visuals never get old.

The animation oozes that old school TF2 quality. Gotta love the way the Engineer writhes in pain.
I don't think I'll ever get sick of Lancer's face. The zoom-in and James' voice coming out of Lancer was perfect.
This entire thing just FITS the Dark *insert gang name chosen*.
I don't think I would've enjoyed the cartoonish chest cleaning if it wasn't for the zany sound effects. Those are great, love those type of sounds.
In terms of comparing it to the Fallout animations made in the game or to promote the game, the look of Vault Boy and the filters used are well-made and look about right. In terms of animation, the style is there, but if I were to compare it to the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. promotional videos, I'd say that the main difference here is that this Vault Boy has a lot of similar facial expressions.
I see that Vault Boy's faces are either him with his trademark smile, "0o0", or "-_-". There's not much variation in his facial expressions or movements. Obviously, no one's going to be able to perfectly replicate another's style, but I'd say that so far that it just lacks variety in the expression.
For a test, it still works well, and I could see this scenario in a trailer. Definitely enjoyed it as a Vault Boy animation though.
It's such a simple animation, but the details really shine. This is a Pokémon animation that I appreciate because it builds jokes around the games instead of making jokes about the ridiculousness of Pokémon. The tiny "ledge", the Oak gag, and using FLY in that manner were great.
The incredible lack of subtlety lends itself extremely well. This is one of the most zany cartoons I've seen this year.
It goes from a semi-serious, melodramatic Resident Evil tone to something you'd see in a Tom and Jerry sketch back and forth so much. I find everything here fits so well, as Resident Evil has a bizarre, insane setting with equally insane scenarios, but the animation encapsulates the ridiculous "video-gamey" aspects in its wacky humor.
Even the blatant sexual nature of Jill's body works so well considering the hilarious facial expressions she makes in contrast to her figure. The jokes always move on to the next thing, relying on animation and sound effects to really run home with each and every one.
I do so greatly cherish Undertale's voice, especially compared to the Fun Gang Leader's own voice. The exhausted, at times breathless voice of Undertale just nails it.
yea, undertale was sick during the filming of this. turned out alright
I think the voice acting cracking up during the longer monologues while making a point really makes this cartoon for me.
There's so much goofy character put into the characters of Overwatch here. Even if it is based off of a Teen Titans series of scenes, this sequence is adapted in a way where all the references just flow, and each and every scene just has something so cartoony. It's like Overwatch was meant to be used, even with how zany everything's made here.
Oh man I'm so glad just reading this! Thank you ^^
Fun cartoon that perfectly encapsulates the use of the crown, literally making a trash waifu. Very realistic to real trends.
